From Western Australia’s Numbat to Queensland’s Hairy-nosed Wombat, Kat has illustrated a collection of Australia’s endangered and critically endangered animals. Deforestation, disease, predation from introduced species and habitat loss have impacted on so many of Australia’s native animals, Kat wanted to draw attention to their plight. The exhibition consisted of 16 artworks, 6 large and 10 small, all rendered in pen, watercolour and ink on cold pressed watercolour paper.
