As an ‘out and proud’ member of the Huon Valley community, Kat was approached by Huon Valley council to paint a piece that could be displayed in the council building. Part of the brief was that the piece could be used on 12 Pride flags that would be displayed down the Main Street in Huonville several times a year. She also asked to choose the words that would go with each flag as she felt strongly about this.
