'Archie'

The Forty-spotted Pardalote (Pardalotus quadragintus) is a tiny bird, and by far the rarest pardalote, being confined to a few colonies in the south-east corner of Tasmania, mainly on Maria Island and Bruny Island. It now occurs in only a few small areas of dry forest that contain white gum (Eucalyptus viminalis) trees, on which it is exclusively dependent.
