2021, Shown in Solo Exhibition: Suspended Breath, a Hartz Journey
Inspired by Hartz Mountain National Park in Tasmania.
Perched on a rock looking down towards Hartz Lake. It feels so high and exposed. The hike up here from the carpark was a varied experience of a gentle stroll along boardwalks, a bit of sploshing through muddy puddles, knee aching steps up an almost vertical rocky pathway and a bit of rock scrambling towards the end. It never matters if you make it to the peak though, as there are amazing views from all over the park.
